Lifeboat

Lifeboat = help if you have a problem.

The lifeboat recovers the Internet Gate even if flash memory contents are damaged. It uses the unit's bootloader to load and install a firmware using the Ethernet interface. Read more here.

Only use the lifeboat when all other options have been considered, preferably after a direct recommendation from support.

After recovering the Internet Gate with the lifeboat you should check that you use the latest firmware: Firmware Upgrade.
