Internet Access Problems

On the front panel display the text Hi, Lo or AC indicates that there is a working WAN (Internet) connection. If this is not the case, you have probably one of the following display appearances:


If you have problems accessing the Internet from a PC on the LAN, follow this procedure:
(This assumes that you want to use the Internet Gate as a router and use it to assign IP addresses to all the devices on your local network.)

  1. Check that there is a working connection between the PC and the Internet Gate, follow the instructions here.
  2. Check the Internet (WAN) connection (of the Internet Gate) as described above. You must have one of the Hi, Lo or AC texts on the display.
  3. Check that your PC uses Internet Gate as its Default Gateway (for Windows: check with ”ipconfig /all” at the Command Prompt). Default Gateway
