Troubleshooting

If you experience problems accessing the Internet or computers on your local network, follow the troubleshooting procedure below to locate the problem.

  1. Run the diagnostic test. The first thing you should do if you run into a problem is to run the diagnostic test to locate the problem. Click here for instructions.
  2. Connect to the Internet Gate. Try to connect to the Internet Gate. Enter the Internet Gate IP address in your browser (default IP address: 192.168.0.1). Click here if you are not able to connect to the Internet Gate.
  3. Connect to Internet. Try to connect to the Internet by surfing to a well-known web site such as www.google.com. Click here if you are not able to connect to Internet.
  4. Check client configuration. Make sure all devices connected to the Internet Gate are properly configured. Click here for more information.
