Telephone Ports
Internet Gate's telephone ports allow you to:
- connect analogue telephones to it, converting them to IP-phones FXS
- connect it to the global telephone network, and be able to make and receive ordinary telephone calls FXO
Phone ports are marked PH1, PH2 on the back panel of the Internet Gate, and LINE for connection to the global telephone network.
Phone Ports (FXS)
Connect a telephone to the FXS port to make ordinary or SIP calls. It is possible to connect up to 5 phones to each FXS port. The two phone ports allows you to have two different registrations (phone numbers).
FXS1 controls port PH1, FXS2 controls port PH2.
